Welcome to Pebblestone Cellars  

We are a family-owned business, fulfilling our dreams and passions for wine for over 30 years. The grapes used in our wines come exclusively from Ellis Vineyards, which is located in the middle of an ancient riverbed. We chose the name “PEBBLESTONE,” as it aptly describes the sandy, gravelly, and well-drained soils of our vineyard.  This special soil and the warm sunny climate of Southern Oregon are major contributors to the intense aromatics and flavors which are characteristic in our wines.

You may have known “PEBBLESTONE Cellars” as “Skipping Stone Wines” in 2006, our first year of production.  In the latter stages of trademarking the name “Skipping Stone,” we encountered a conflict with another winery that had previously registered a similar name; however, rest assured that the owners haven't changed, and the grapes and the wines are still the same high quality.

We hope you will enjoy your journey through the pages of our website and learn more about our vineyard and handcrafted wines.  PEBBLESTONE wines can be tasted at Roxy Ann Winery in Medford, and in restaurants in the Medford, Jacksonville and Ashland area. You can also learn more about our wines in our wine section, and if you’d like, you can purchase wine online and/or join Skipping Stones, which is our wine club.
